Pobiti Kamani

The beaten stones are rock formations located 18 km from the center of Varna. They are located on both sides of the road to Varna - Sofia, around the villages of Sunny, Banovo and Strashimirovo, and Devnya. They are distributed in large or small groups on an area of 7 km²

The natural landmark is an ensemble of stone columns up to 10 m high, hollow or solid cylinders, truncated cones, rock blocks of different shapes and sizes, and numerous stone fragments scattered throughout the complex. For millennia, nature has sculpted the stone fragments to turn them into impressive sculptures resembling people, animals, monsters, mythical creatures. "Stone Guards", "Camel", "Throne", "Stone Forest" are the names of only some of these natural sculptures.
